Lodge
By car from Dar es Salaam takes about five hours: Leave town (yes, just do it!). Turn right in Chalinze, left in Segera, and right in Mombo. After 20 minutes you’re in Soni. Turn right and follow the signs to Maweni, 2.5 km.
From Arusha/Moshi (4/3 hours): Turn left in Mombo, then as above.
By bus: Most if not all buses on the Dar - Moshi/Arusha/Nairobi route stop in Mombo for lunch. We recommend “Scandinavia Express” from Dar or Arusha to Mombo. Call us the day before and we pick you up.
From Kilimanjaro airport: driving at night is not recommended, so if you arrive in the evening, mail us in advance and we make arrangements.
From Zanzibar: Coastal operates a daily flight Zanzibar - Pemba - Tanga. Very convenient and not expensive. We pick you up in Tanga.
From Nairobi: Akamba and Scandinavian buses take eight hours to Mombo.
