Accommodation Rates 2007/2008

valid from 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2008

single occupancy +15 €, for suite + 25 €

triple occupancy in suite + 26 € for adult, + 13 € for child 7-12

children 0-6 free in parents room, 7-12 50%

high season 10 dec 07 - 10 jan 08 (christmas & new year) and 14 - 30 march 08 (easter): + 5 € p.p. /day

Conference Hall: €70 per day; coffee/te, cake & water: €10 per person

Groups of 10+ people receive complimentary morning and afternoon coffee/tea, cake/biscuits and mineral water 3.

Special weekday rate: Monday to Friday, 4 days & nights for the price of 3.

Children under 6 years stay free in their parents room, children between 6 and 12 years pay half rates; babysitter available at a small cost if booked in advance 5.

Internet: Wireless satellite internet connection available for free for resident guests (else 1,000 TSh per half hour)

Video projector and large screen: 50 € per half day if available

Pick-up with minibus in Mombo: 25 €

Trekking rates (examples)

• Day Trips 4-8 hrs. to Butterfly Peak “Kwamongo” or Sakkarani: Village Developm. Fee 3,000 TSH p.p. + FoU Administr. Fee 1,000 TSH p.group + Guide 10,000 per group
• 3 Day Trip to Mazumbai Rain Forest via Bumbuli: 50,000 p.p./day (includes accomodation, full board meals, guide, forest entrance & village dev't fees and transport back to Maweni). For groups of 3+, 35,000 p.p./day.

Payment: Full payment 30 days prior to arrival is required to secure bookings. Bank transfer details available on request. Sender collects all charges with regard to transfer fees.Payments made at the hotel should be made in Tanzanian Shillings, € or US$ cash (subject to hotel exchange rates for food and beverage items priced in Tsh).
